Cheryl Beckel provides retail merchandising and repositioning advisory services to development and institutional owners nationally with nearly 28 years of experience transforming shopping destinations across the U.S. Her strategic approach to merchandise planning and repositioning has created long-term value for community, lifestyle, urban, hospital and resort retail projects.

Cheryl is currently leasing projects in Palm Desert, CA; St. George, UT; and Huntington Beach, CA.  Her KHL clients include Indiana University Health, Princeton University and Northwestern Medicine. Her expertise spans rent budgeting, merchandising strategy, and leasing execution. Cheryl played a key role in the merchandising and leasing efforts for Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago.

Previously, Cheryl was Vice President of Leasing at Madison Marquette, where she spearheaded leasing initiatives for premier West Coast assets. Her work contributed to the success of Kukui'ula Village (Kauai, HI), International Marketplace (Honolulu, HI), Pacific Place (Seattle, WA), Park Place (Irvine, CA), Centerpoint (Tempe, AZ), District La Brea (Los Angeles, CA), and several other high-profile retail destinations.

Prior to her tenure at Madison, she served as a Leasing Representative for General Growth Properties, overseeing three regional malls in Arizona. Her responsibilities included full leasing operations, merchandising strategy, and multi-year budget planning. She also held a leadership role as Regional Leasing Manager at Glimcher Realty Trust, where she was responsible for leasing over 24 regional and super-regional shopping malls nationwide, including major ground up development projects.

A graduate of The Ohio State University, Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Transportation/Logistics. She remains an active industry leader as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
