Christian Damerow

Project Management

Christian Damerow is a project manager for KHL Retail, overseeing retail advisory assignments for the consulting practice. His area of expertise includes due diligence and strategic planning work for real estate purchase, lease or development, the creation of feasibility and valuation studies, lease negotiations and project management.

Christian also understands the issues relating to planning and construction as well, having worked on project management for large-scale commercial projects.  He previously served as a Senior Asset Manager handling the Northeastern territory with Whitestar Advisors, LLC, a consulting firm providing financial analyses and management services relating to the real estate holdings of its pension fund clients, which included midtown office buildings, suburban retail centers and development sites.

As a Director with Madison HGCD, Christian worked with retail clients such as Tiffany, Barneys, Coach, Sur La Table and Liz Claiborne among others, helping them to develop retail expansion plans, identify suitable retail locations and negotiate leases.  

As a Project Manager at Pixar Animation Studios, Christian worked on the development of the studio’s 220,000 square foot, $75 million campus on a brownfield site. The position required working with city agencies through the permitting, environmental remediation, and construction periods as well as interfacing with project architects, contractors, and Pixar management and employees throughout the planning and construction phases, ensuring that the needs of all parties involved were accommodated and coordinated.

Christian is a graduate of the University of Arizona with degrees in Finance and Marketing and has a Masters in of Science in Real Estate Finance from New York University.
